James R. Kruse: Since 1970, Mr. Kruse has concentrated his practice on securities and corporate law, emphasizing new equity financings and corporate acquisitions and reorganizations involving publicly traded companies. Mr. Kruse particularly focuses on understandable, readable disclosure, including the development of overall communication strategies and the drafting of specific language for sensitive matters.
Lyndon RicksLyndon L. Ricks: Clients have described Lyndon Ricks as “A businessman who is also a lawyer.” For more than 28 years, Mr. Ricks has served small and large businesses and helped business people with legal issues. He has primary responsibility for general counsel work, securities matters, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures (domestic and international), and a variety of other matters including executive compensation, corporate contracts, joint ventures and strategic alliances, and technology licensing.
Kevin TimkenKevin Timken has been a member of the firm’s corporate and securities practice group since 2000, helping public and private companies with equity financings, commercial transactions and regulatory compliance.
Terrell Smith became of counsel to Kruse Landa Maycock & Ricks in July 2013. His practice focuses on real property financing, commercial transactions, mortgage banking and servicing, distressed asset acquisitions, nonperforming loan workouts, securities transactions and corporate governance and operations for local and national firms.
Betsy Voter concentrates her practice in the areas of financial regulatory compliance, and corporate and securities law. Prior to joining KLMR she was General Counsel for a brokerage and clearing firm. Coming from the financial services industry, Betsy has a unique understanding of how to balance clients’ practical and operational needs within a regulatory environment.
